World famous saxopohonist Johan van der Linden was primarius in the Aurelia Saxophone Quartet. Henry Kelder was répétiteur for saxophone class at Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. They met during a masterclass and became friends and a duo right away. Henry wrote ZBOP! and 2 saxophone concertos for Johan and they travel around the world to perform new pieces. Johan and Henry are colleague professors at the HKU University of the Arts in Utrecht.

This album is named after the piece ZBOP! which was written by Henry Kelder for Johan van der Linden to mark the start of their friendship and duo. The title is an artistry thought of fusion and something groovy, which are the main elements of this album. All pieces on this album have its first recording. Except Little Zero all pieces are written for Johan van der Linden or Duo Lind’n Kelder. Most pieces are premiered and played by the duo in China, Estonia, The Netherlands, Poland and the United Kingdom. Download the CD here!
